Wooden Shutters
Stained or painted window shutters are a traditional style statement.
Stained or painted timber shutters bring timeless elegance to any interior, offering a classic style statement that complements both traditional and contemporary homes. As a sophisticated alternative to conventional blinds or window coverings, wooden shutters showcase exceptional craftsmanship while delivering impressive durability and functional benefits.
Engineered for the harsh Australian climate, timber shutters are naturally strong, stable, and resilient. They offer excellent insulation, airflow, and privacy control, while also helping to protect flooring and furniture from fading caused by UV exposure. Their low maintenance design makes them a practical choice for busy households.
Particularly, the internal air pockets created by timber shutters provide an insulation value greater than that of brick, concrete, or aluminium, enhancing your home’s energy efficiency and year round comfort.

Care Instructions
To best maintain your shutters, clean them at least weekly with just the vacuum using a brush attachment. For wooden shutters, spraying a dusting cloth with wood polish and dusting thoroughly provides a more in-depth clean. Vinyl or painted shutters should be washed thoroughly using a cloth dipped in warm water and dish soap. Rinse with water and dry with a towel or paper towel afterward. For small crevices or hard to reach areas of your shutters, consider using a toothbrush sprayed with your cleaning agent of choice. If your shutters are external and hard to reach, consider using a hose or pressure water system or ladder to reach it.
